What a great time
we had in Washington DC for a week of sold-out shows at the Capital Fringe Festival.
We stayed at my dear friend's the writer Victoria McKernan.

Paul Gillis shot some great pictures of us for the fesitval as we did the show, though a number we can't use due to the lawsuit.
When we booked the show in Dublin, Ireland, I thought the photo with the whip that I had been using on publicity in the States might be a bit much for the Irish so I used this shot from the photo shoot with David Kassel. I shouldn't have worried they are very hip in Dublin. I did four radio shows and we sold-out. I think we were helped by the fact that divorce was only legalized in Ireland in 1995 so mistresses have played a notorious role in Ireland's recent past.
Lisa and Ellen went to the Irish National Library for the Yeats exhibit
then popped into the charming hotel Bushwell's and had tea with scones and
cream - yum! before going to do the Friday show in Dublin.
After our sold-out Saturday night Judith Mok, famed opera singer, and her husband Michael O'Loughlin, writer-in-residence in Galway, joined us to celebrate at Bewleys Cafe, 10-07.
Mary Bianco,
the photographer for Newyorkcool.com, took some fun action shots
when she covered the show. She generously sent me a CD of all the images.
Dr. Faith takes the audience on a wild ride.

Mistress Ethel tells her story and brings the house down.
Dr. Faith loves singing the touching ballad by Ellen Mandel and Michael Lydon, "Don't Ask Why".
Late in the show I slip into a red silk robe that I bought years ago in San Francisco's Chinatown.
I love having a reason to wear silk robes and feather boas.
Dr. Faith and Mistress Ethel have great fun working together and here share a moment.
One of my favorite actresses and comediennes Pam Wilterdink came to see the show at Dillon's and we had fun catching up after, recalling what a good job she did when she played Babydoll in my play, The All-Nude College-Girl Revue.
